FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to material science. The method of obtaining calcium phosphate coating on a sample involves sputtering a target from stoichiometric hydroxyapatite - Ca10(PO)6(OH)2 (Ca/P=1.67) in a vacuum chamber in an argon atmosphere and the coating is obtained at high-frequency discharge power density of 0.1-1 W/cm2, argon pressure of 0.1-1 Pa, negative bias on the substrate holder of 0-100 V, placing the samples in and outside the target erosion region with coat formation time of 15-180 minutes.
EFFECT: invention widens the range of materials used in dentistry, trauma surgery and orthopaedics.
