FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes catalyst systems (versions) used to produce a copolymer of conjugated diene and at least one monoolefin such as alpha-olefin and/or ethylene which contain: (i) an organometallic complex of formula (1); (ii) a co-catalyst belonging to a group consisting of alkylmagnesium, alkyllithium, alkylaluminium, Grignard reagent or a mixture of said components. Described is a method of preparing said catalyst systems involving: a) preparation of said organometallic complex involving: (i) reaction of alkyllithium with a hydrogenated molecule of a ligand of formula (2) to obtain a lithium salt of formula (3); (ii) reaction of said salt with an anhydrous trihalide of said ligand of formula LnX3 in a complexing solvent; (iii) evaporation of said complexing solvent with subsequent extraction of the product obtained at (ii) with a solvent which is sufficiently less capable for complexing than the solvent used at (ii), and the optionally (iv) crystallisation of the product extracted at (iii) to obtain said organometallic complex in which said complexing solvent is completely absent, and then b) addition of said co-catalyst to said organometallic complex obtained at a). Described also is a method of obtaining a copolymer of at least one conjugated diene and at least one monoolefin, involving reaction of a catalyst system in an inert hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of said conjugated diene(s) and said monoolefin(s), whereby said catalyst system is one of the systems described above. Invention also describes a copolymer of at least one conjugated diene and at least one alpha-olefin having 3-18 carbon atoms, whereby said copolymer is obtained using the method described above and satisfies the following conditions at the same time: number-average molecular weight of said copolymer is higher than 60000 g/mol, said copolymer contains links originating from said conjugated diene(s) with molar ratio greater than 40% and less than or equal to 90%, and links originating from said alpha-olefin(s) with molar ratio less than 60% and greater than or equal to 10%, said links which originate from said conjugated diene(s) have a trans-1,4 bond in ratio greater than 70%, and said copolymer does not have cyclic links.
EFFECT: high output of copolymerisation process.
