FIELD: material engineering.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing randomized copolymers with a low content of vinyl groups, copolymers with a low content of vinyl groups, as well as to rubber mixtures containing these copolymers used in the manufacture of tires, rubber products, in electrical engineering and other fields. This method is carried out by copolymerization of conjugated dienes and vinylarenes using a lithium-organic initiator. Copolymerization is carried out at a temperature from 70 to 130°C in the presence of an electron-donating system consisting of potassium alcoholate of the general formula ROK, where R is an aliphatic group containing from 5 to 15 carbon atoms and an electron-donating additive, followed by modification by at least one compound selected from the group of cyclosiloxanes, oxacyclosiloxanes, lactams or vinylpyridines.

EFFECT: obtained statistical copolymers with a low content of vinyl groups have improved affinity for silicic acid and carbon fillers, and the rubbers obtained on their basis have improved elastic hysteresis properties such as rolling resistance and adhesion to wet roads.
