FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: liquid glass (A) undergoes preliminary chemical modification with potassium silicofluoride (B) and polyvinyl acetate (C) in ratio A:B:C between 92:4:4 and 52:22:26 by mixing in a reactor with not less than 200 rpm for 10-40 minutes at room temperature. While the mixer is working, a petroleum processing product, fatty acid soap and filler are fed into the reactor and stirring continues for 5-25 more minutes. The obtained grease contains the following in pts. wt: petroleum processing product 10-70, modifying liquid glass 5-35, soap 5-20, filler 3-25.
EFFECT: improved antifriction properties of grease under heavy loads and high adhesion to metal.
