SUBSTANCE: milk flow measurement apparatus for the milk-air mix comprises an air separator and a leaking measuring chamber with conductivity measurement electrodes used to convert the milk level in the measuring chamber into a measure of flow. The apparatus accommodates elements to force the distributed milk to flow essentially in the direction to the first group of the measuring electrodes only, while the second group of the measuring electrodes is closed to the current milk level in the measuring chamber thereby providing the conductivity-based continuous level indication. Also the apparatus is applied in a supervisory monitoring system for automated milking wherein a controller for a pulsator and an attachment and detachment mechanism of a milking machine collector are additionally used.
EFFECT: apparatus destroys foam and reduces its impact in flow measurement.
