FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: orthopaedic apparatus comprises two cases one inside the other, and a packing material. The internal case is made of a synthetic air-penetrable cloth with mesh size less than 15 mcm and provided with a reflective coating from inside. Edges of the internal case are tightly connected circumferentially by thermal gluing and sewing. The external case is made of a synthetic cloth with antimicrobial characteristics. Edges of the external case are connected partially along its perimetre by simultaneous sewing and fringing. The packing material is made of sodium-borosilicate glass microspheres 15-200 mcm and potassium-sodium glass microspheres 50-160 mcm with antimicrobial coating in the volume ratio 12:1 - 5:1. The internal case is filled with the packing material to 1/2 - 2/3 of maximum volume.
EFFECT: making products to ensure the optimal comfort of relaxed body fixation, provided therapeutic and health-improving characteristics of orthopaedic apparatuses.
