FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: manual injection device for the introduction of a dosed liquid form through an injection needle from a medical container by unlocking an power generator provided in the device. The power generator can be unlocked completely or partially by actuating a user-operated unlocking element located on an upper end of the injection device or adjoining said upper end represented by the end of the injection device that is opposed to the injection needle. The power generator is designed to produce energy by rotating a rotatable dose adjustment element. In addition, the device contains a rotatable drive member at least partially interlocked with at least a part of a driving slot in a piston rod. The drive member is arranged in the first axial position wherein the dose adjustment is found in the dose adjustment position and in the second axial position wherein the dose adjustment is set in the dose injection position. The drive member is designed to release the energy accumulated in the power generator when observing the second axial position.
EFFECT: device is ergonomic and initiates the adjusted dose injection by a first or second finger of a hand holding the injection device by applying axially directed force to the top of the injection device.
