FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to an injection device comprising a surplus dose injection protector. The injection device for medicine dose injection comprises a case, a dose injection mechanism, a dose limitation mechanism and a safety mechanism. The dose injection mechanism accommodates a dose setting element rotatable about the case to set a dose to be injected, a piston rod arranged relatively to the case in such a manner that while translating distally, the piston rod provides dose injection, converters of dose setting element rotation to piston rod translation. The dose limitation mechanism is interacting with the dose injection mechanism to avoid surplus dose injection. The safety mechanism is fixed relatively to the dose injection mechanism in such a manner that in the event of dose limitation mechanism malfunction, the safety mechanism prevents surplus dose injection.
EFFECT: invention prevents surplus dose injection in the event of protector malfunction.
