FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: roll monoblock comprises first block (B1) of roll mill stands (G1-Gm) and second block (B2) of roll mill stands (Gm+1-Gn). In compliance with this invention, annular circuit (A) is arranged between said blocks (B1, B2) to cool sectional bar (11). Invention aims at maintaining specified temperature over all roll length including head and unobstructed feed of tensioned roll stock in the next stands. For this, annular circuit (A) comprises first take-off assembly (20) to keep sectional bar (11) tensioned at outlet of first block (B1) in passing through cooling devices (23), shears (24) to cut off cooled sectional bar head, second take-off assembly (21) to keep sectional bar tensioned at outlet of shears or cooling device, circular loop (25) to rule out tensioning of sectional bar in passing between said two blocks, third take-off assembly (22) arranged between annular circuit (25) and second block (B2) to feed sectional bar to second block.
EFFECT: simplified temperature control.
