FIELD: metallurgy, specifically, equipment producing wire rod by combined continuous casting and rolling. SUBSTANCE: casting and rolling plant includes machine continuously casting billets, section forming loop of wire rod located after continuous casting machine, facilities for dressing of wire rod across exit from section forming loop, inductor to heat up wire rod, planetary mill combining setting and universal planetary stands, group of bar stands, section of takein of rolled product. In correspondence with invention there is provided intermediate roller table placed between facilities dressing wire rod and setting stand of planetary mill as well as shears for pulse cutting of wire rods mounted in zone of intermediate roller table for movement along roller table, pusher of wire rod from intermediate roller table, side container and delivery table positioned in parallel to intermediate roller table. This approach makes it possible for continuous casting machine to continue operation in case of emergency situation caused by stoppage of planetary mill. In this case pulse shears cut wire rod on intermediate roller table into measured lengths and pusher of lengths pushes these lengths into container. EFFECT: prevented loss of metal and energy related to possible stoppage of continuous casting machine. 1 cl, 2 dwg
