FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises placing billet on duplex or triple press die, pressing biller flange and pulling billet central part in die cavity by punch. Two fixed thrusts with hooks are arranged on die surface and movable thrusts with hooks are mounted opposite the former. Billet is arranged in due with flexure. Billet is placed so that its edges slide on surfaces of aforesaid thrusts. Billet two opposite edges are located below hooks of fixed and movable thrusts to clamp the billet. Billet central is preliminary bent over cylindrical surface. Pre-bent billet is lowered inside die to be completely bent. Then bent billet flange is clamped and billet central part is pulled in. Stamp comprises punch, stamp slide, fixed lower plate, die and pressure plate. Also fixed thrusts with hooks and two movable thrusts with hooks. Lower die has developing pressure surface. Guide assies axes are located horizontally.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency, sheet metal input and costs.
