FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming. Proposed die comprises female and male dies, and holder. In compliance with first version, proposed die should be mounted on double- or triple-action press comprises internal and external slides. Male die is fixed on said internal slide. Press holder is fixed on external slide and incorporates section of device to hold sheet billet half edge between developable pressure surfaces of female die and holder. In compliance with second version, die is to be mounted at simple-action or multiposition automatic press and comprises fixed bottom plate. Male die is secured on die bottom plate. In both versions, female die has extending rounded parts to allow male die to bend free half of sheet billet to be displaced toward held part and to edge sheet billet center material.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of sheet material per unit part and labor input.
