FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of powder materials with grain size of lower that 0.2 mcm used for fabrication of cermets, composite materials, as well as fuel, termit and pyrotechnical materials. Aluminium wire is exploded in sealed evacuated reactor in atmosphere containing inert gas. Passivating is carried out in blasting with continuous feed of aluminium wire and oxygen into reactor in amount of 0.04 to 0.1 gram per gram of aluminium wire.
EFFECT: reduced agglomeration of aluminium powder particles and their protection against oxidation.
