FIELD: printing industry.

SUBSTANCE: printed products are carried by conveyor through addition station of addition section. Folded or stitched edges of printed products are arranged in line, perpendicular or cornerwise to conveying direction. Every copy of printed product is retained by clamps 6 nearby folded or backbone edge, nearby edge opposite said folded or backbone edge, or nearby both edges adjoining said folded or backbone edge. Folded appendices are fed, one after another, to addition point Z. Appendixes are unfolded. Unfolded appendix is applied onto folded or backbone edge of every copy of printed product carried through addition point so that appendix fold is aligned with folded or backbone edge of printed product copy.

EFFECT: simplified design.
