FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine building, particularly to procedures of socket joints assembly. The disclosed here procedure consists in running-in ball-and socket joints in a process axial-piston pump with alternate angle of axial deviation of support (6) relative to rotation axis of cylinder bloc (8) of the pump. Simultaneously positional relationship of each case (1) and corresponding shank end (5) changes within ranges of specified angle α of deviation of the latter and with selection of force effecting shank end (5) within the range from 0 to actual force effecting the ball-and socket joint under operation. Also force of running-in directed to rolled shoulder (3) is alternated with force opposite directed to recess of a spherical shape of case (1). Flanges (2) of cases (1) are positioned between support (6) and separator (7) with specified gap; while deviation of axis of support (6) relative to axis of rotation of cylinder block (8) is made at angle not exceeding angle α to eliminate deformation of rolled shoulder (3).
EFFECT: raised reliability and efficiency of running-in by means of adjusting force to shank end (within range from 0 to actual force effecting ball-ad-socket joint under operation) by time of effect and force magnitude.
