FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: spatial switching medium contains first and second groups of matrix switches which are mutually orthogonal and are connected into a 3D array structure, where leads of the matrix switches lie along coordinate axes respectively. Another spatial switching medium contains an interconnection board with a group of leads whose terminal pads lie on both sides of the board in form of a matrix, and groups of matrix switches lie mutually orthogonal on opposite sides of the interconnection board and are respectively electrically and mechanically connected by data inputs and outputs to the terminal pads of the groups of leads of the interconnection board.
EFFECT: simple design of the switching medium.
