FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to orthopaedics and can be used for surgical treatment of spread forefoot. An apparatus is made of a shape-memory material. The apparatus consists of bound retainers. The first retainer represents an open ring. The second retainer comprises an external branch "П"-bound with an internal branch passing in the intramedullary leg folded from a longitudinal axis of the internal branch in the direction from the external branch. The external and internal branches of the second retainer are arranged in parallel. The bonding consists of straight and arched pieces. The straight piece extends from the open ring of the first retainer and passes into the arched piece folded in the direction of an end of the intramedullary leg in a plane perpendicular to a plane of the ring of the first retainer. The apparatus is made of a round-edged plate of thickness 1.5 mm and width 2 mm.

EFFECT: invention ensures the uniform coaptation of I-II instep bone rays along the full length; forcing of the retainers through bone tissue of instep bones in functional forefoot loads is eliminated; long-term functional prognosis of constriction of the spread forefoot is ensured, the imbalance of tension of flexor and extensor tendons is prevented due to normalised position of all the segments of I-II instep bones; transverse arch of the foot is restored, fan-shaped spread instep bones and vicious position of head of II instep bone is eliminated.
