FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Brace for osteosynthesis of oblique and comminuted fractures of tubular bones in the form of a ring with a solid-plate connector, having lugs in the form of protrusions on the inner surface, is made of an alloy with thermomechanical shape memory, has clamp-shaped latches connected by a U-shaped jumper located in a plane perpendicular to the planes of the clamp-shaped latches. Stops have the shape of transverse ribs with a smooth top and are located at equal distances from each other, in the amount of 3–5 pieces. Relay clamps have: C-shaped, or oval, or triangular shape, or half-rings, corresponding to the cross-section of the damaged bone in the place of the brace. Tool for deformation and removal of the above brace consists of two handles with a rack, connected by a hinge, turning into branches with a working end. Working end interacts with brace clamps. Return mechanism is set between the handles. Working ends of the branches are made in the form of straight triangular prisms, at the base of which lie right-angled triangles. Prisms are deployed in such a way that their bases lie in planes parallel to the longitudinal plane of the tool. Side walls of the prisms, forming a right angle, are located in the inside of the instrument. One of the walls continues the vertical inner wall of the branch, and the second rests on the end of the branch. Side walls of the prisms, passing through the hypotenuse of the bases, are located outwards, forming an inclined platform, on their surface, 2-3 grooves are made parallel to the side edge of the prism. Upper lateral edge of prism bent at 90° angle outwards with the formation of a ledge.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in mutual compression between the bone fragments with a uniform distribution over the entire area of the fracture, the creation of conditions that provide optimal conditions for the fusion of bone fragments, namely, preservation of the anatomically correct position of the bone fragments until their fusion, preservation of the blood circulation of the bone, elimination of the traumatic effect on the surrounding tissues and obstacles to the function of the tendon-ligamentous apparatus, reduction of the injury of the operation.
