FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for producing hollow products by forming end elements and metal build up on biller inner surface. Prior to forming the rod head outer surface profile and geometrical sizes, a solid section is produced on hollow biller end with metal volume not smaller than that of finished rod head with filled inner space. After forming, solid section is bored to produce channel communicated with rod body inner space.
EFFECT: expanded range of produced rods, higher quality and reduced consumption of cutting tools.
