FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tests for safe life of, primarily, communication satellites with heat accumulator with their gas chamber filled with two-phase gas and separated from fluid chamber by bellow. Proposed tests are performed by cyclic transfer of said bellow from one extreme position into another and vise versa, number of cycles being preset. For this, compressed air is forced periodically into dry fluid chamber to be forced therefrom into ambient atmosphere. Then fluid chamber is evacuated. Note here that certain limitations on maximum and minimum fluid pressure in corresponding chamber are observed to provide certain rate of bellow travel variation.

EFFECT: higher reliability of accelerated tests (acceleration factor ≈ 20).
