FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: reactor comprises cylindrical shell, at least one layer of catalyst retained in shell and at least one heat-exchange unit installed in layer of catalyst. Heat exchange unit comprises multiple heat exchangers of box-shaped design, mostly having oblong rectangular flat shape. Opposite long sides of heat exchangers are parallel to axis of cylindrical shell. Opposite short sides pass perpendicular to axis of shell. Heat exchangers additionally comprise inner chamber for passage of working coolant. At least one heat exchanger of at least one heat exchange unit has several partitions inside, passing from short side of heat exchanger to opposite short side at the specified distance from it, with formation of zigzag passage in inner chamber for fluid medium with alternating ascending and descending sections.
EFFECT: invention provides for mechanical strength of structure under action of increased pressure and optimal efficiency of working fluid heat exchange with gas-reagents and gaseous products of reaction.
