FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for rolling tram rails, primarily, in finishing gages. Proposed cassette comprises split roll on needle bearing that allows axle to pass there through. Split case of cassette accommodates smaller-size split roll. Cassette incorporates two lines of cylindrical different-diametre support rollers arranged in the cage on top and bottom and opposite the strain center that stay in contact with split roll along grooves corresponding to its nonworking surfaces. Note here that larger-diametre support rollers are fitted on roller bearings and at 45° to radial force direction. Smaller-diametre rollers run on plain bearings are arranged at 15° and 75° to allow uniform distribution of forces of cutting rail hear jaw between support roller and split roll axle.

EFFECT: reduced rolling force and electric power consumption, higher efficiency.
