METHOD FOR ROLLING OF ASYMMETRIC SECTIONS Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B21B1/85 

FIELD: manufacture of rolled asymmetric products, preferably railway sections, in particular, neck-free type tram rails.

SUBSTANCE: method involves multiple-passage squeezing of blank in rolls equipped with passes; performing initial forming of section in trapezium-shaped pass symmetric relative to vertical axis and defined in upper and lower parts by grooves of box passes of smaller and greater width, respectively; performing further rolling procedure in inclined pass made in the form of trapezium with unequal strips and having diagonal opening defined by angular lower and upper grooves; after tilting of rolled products through 90 deg, rolling said products in forming pass system with height of opening of passes in lateral sides varying in alternation; performing final forming of section in preleader and finishing passes with equal opening.

EFFECT: improved quality of section owing to providing its precise geometry, increased efficiency and durability of rolls.
