FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to decontamination of liquid media in a stream and can be used in treating waste water. The complex module for treating a liquid medium in a stream contains a horizontal element connected to a hollow metallic element and a second hollow element enclosed in the jacket of a UV lamp, a unit of start-control devices and wires which connect the UV lamp to the unit of start-control devices. The UV lamp is placed horizontally inside the hollow metallic element in an airtight seal. In the second hollow element there are ultrasonic transmitters which are rigidly connected to resonators which are made in form of rods, pipes or plates.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of decontaminating liquid and enables cleaning of protective jackets of UV lamps from biocontamination and salt depositions.
