FIELD: environmental protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environmental protection and concerns an apparatus for determining transmission of ultraviolet radiation in aqueous media. Proposed device comprises flange accommodating two different lengths of ultraviolet radiation transducer and ultrasonic emitter. Each sensor consists of a housing, a diaphragm lens made of quartz glass and a photoelectric cell of ultraviolet light spectrum with contacts for connection of power and signal output. Ultrasonic emitter is equipped at the end with a bending waveguide. Ultraviolet radiation sensors and the ultrasonic emitter are electrically connected to a unit for reading and processing signals of ultraviolet radiation sensors and feeding ultraviolet radiation sensors and an ultrasonic emitter. Both ultraviolet radiation sensors use photo cells with the same characteristics.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of measurement of transmission of ultraviolet radiation during disinfection of aqueous media and simplification of device design.
