FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: deposit is worked in three stages. At the first stage deposit is divided into mining units by vertical water-conservation concrete blocks with horizontal sump opening in lower part. At the second stage - along upper border of bed or in one of overlying beds, water preservation horizontal concrete block of alternating thickness is formed from hardening backfilling. At the third stage - stocks of mining unit are subsequently developed using available chamber-pillar technology. To reduce losses of balancing stocks, interchamber pillars are arranged as three-layer in the form of central filling mass and vertical protective layers from potassium salt along its both sides.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to develop an active system of underground mine protection in production of potassium salts against possible flooding with subsurface waters.
