FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: automatic belt tension device includes frame (2), oscillating L-shaped base (8) installed in bearing oscillation assembly of frame with motor (7) and driving pulley (6). The latter is installed with eccentricity relative to oscillating axis. Eccentricity of motor installation is determined by the formula: where: η - efficiency of oscillating support; φ - thrust coefficient; D - diametre of driving pulley; α - belt control angle.
EFFECT: invention allows improving belt reliability, bearings of motor and unit by automatic change of required belt tension value depending on the transmitted torque moment, considering the friction in suspension assemblies.
