SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing of fuel rods includes the following stages: a) jacket is installed on open end (30a) of shell (30), at the same time specified jacket comprises channel equipped with inner collar intended to preserve surface of open end (30a) of shell (30), b) end (30a) of shell is entered with jacket into tip, c) space, where pellets enter, is isolated from outer space; d) shell is filled with pellets, e) filling is stopped, when shell contains a certain quantity of pellets, f) end (30a) of shell is removed from tip, g) jacket is removed. Objects of the present invention also are device for method realisation in compliance with the present invention and protective jacket for nuclear fuel shell.
EFFECT: reduction of nuclear fuel rod cleaning stages in process of manufacturing, protection of rod against contamination.
