FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: acoustic receiver is a spherical body 1 made from a sound transparent urethane composition 2, inside of which there are pressure gradient receivers 3 lying in two mutually perpendicular planes, each consisting of a dipolar pair of hemispheres 4. A pressure head consists of two cylindrical sensitive elements 6 made from piezoceramic which is sealed on two sides by caprolon covers 7, one of which is superposed with a hollow outlet bushing 8 for outlet of wires 9 washed with the urethane composition in this bushing. The sensitive cylindrical elements 5 are placed symmetrically about a phase centre which is at the centre of the spherical body. The pressure gradient receivers 3 consisting of hemispheres 4 made from piezoceramic are sealed with rubber discs 10 glued on the edge of the hemispheres.
EFFECT: design of a combined acoustic receiver capable of realising a bidirectional cardioid characteristic, working in a wide frequency range without distortion of parametres and integrated into a single structure.
