SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics. The ankle is approached, and a fracture region is separated from cicatrices. Two K-wires crossing in a sagittal plane and tensed in a semi-ring of the Ilizarov's apparatus are delivered through the lateral malleous. It is followed with forced semi-ring traction along the ankle axis to ensure complete lateral malleous reduction and osteosynthesis.
EFFECT: method provides complete gain of ankle movement, anatomically precise reduction, simplified surgical procedure.
