FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to production of rods with high concentration of reinforcement elements intended for production of composite materials by casting and to finished products thereof. Invention aims at producing rods with high concentration of reinforcement elements. Note here that at least one bundle of strands containing over 70 wt % of reinforcement material and at least 0.1 % of moisture are heated and moulded prior to cutting into rods.
EFFECT: lower costs, better conservability of reinforcement elements, simple use.
