FIELD: aviation and space engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves producing fiber-reinforced material by passing a preheated stretched row of fibers above the curvilinear head of an extruder. Thermoplastic polymer flows through the row of fibers from a slot arranged across said row, forcing air out of the row at the same time coating said fibers with polymer and forming polymer projections on the other side of the fiber row. Fibers make up to 50-75% of the material volume while the relative viscosity of polymer is at least 50 in comparison with formic acid. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 dwg
