FIELD: polymer production and polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to products manufactured from polyester plastic, preferably from polyethyleneterephthalate having one or more layers of a thermoplastic material with good gas-barrier characteristics applied on at least one of its surfaces, and to new methods for manufacturing such products. Advantageously, products with barrier coating are in the form of preforms coated by at least one barrier material layer and containers molded from the latter by blow technique. Such coated containers are preferably designed for storing drinks such as fine drinks, beer, and juice. Preferred are barrier materials with oxygen and carbon dioxide permeabilities lower than those of polyethyleneterephthalate and their key physical properties are the same as of polyethyleneterephthalate. Materials and methods provide barrier layers with good adhesion to polyethyleneterephthalate and that even during blow molding operation and later, which is of importance to form containers from performs. Preferred barrier coating materials include poly(hydroxyamino-esters). In one of preferred methods, performs are subjected to blow molding and then immediately coated with barrier. Invention provides, in particular, layered product with wall part containing internal and outside layers. The former has at least two discrete sublayers: one containing polyethyleneterephthalate and the other barrier material made from phenoxy-type thermoplastic or copolymer of terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, and at least one diol, whereas outside layer contains processed polyethyleneterephthalate. EFFECT: improved tightness of materials. 37 cl, 17 dwg
