FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary processing of plant material to obtain lipids, transesterification of the obtained lipids and separation of the obtained biodisel fuel. The plant material used is seaweed and its preliminary processing involves collection, drying, grinding and preparation of biomass. Biomass is subjected to chemical and enzymatic hydrolysis, filtration to separate the solid phase, dried and lipids are obtained. The lipids undergo transesterification with an anhydrous solution of potassium methylate or sodium in methanol.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain biodiesel which can be used in motor transport in winter conditions.
