FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing biodiesel fuel from biomass of microalgae of the genus Chlorella kessleri. Method is characterized by that, to obtain biodiesel fuel, direct re-esterification is carried out without preliminary extraction of lipids. Technical ethanol, Chlorella kessleri biomass and technical sulfuric acid are loaded into the vessel, the mixture is brought to a weak boiling, while continuously stirring, held under these conditions for 2 hours, after the transesterification is completed, the obtained mixture is purified by water washing and distillation of the ethanol azeotrope with water at temperature of 78±1 °C, purified mixture is separated and shaken, after separation of phases ethyl acetate is separated, then ethanol is removed by distillation under vacuum.
EFFECT: use of the proposed invention enables to obtain biodiesel fuel with a high percentage of output.
