FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: ironing board comprises a base (1), a body (5) with a working surface, and a device for height adjustment, adjusting the distance between the body and the base. The rack (7) passes between the body and the base, it has a stationary frame (31) attached to the base, and a movable frame (33), attached to the body. To reduce the force required to adjust the height of the body relating to the base, the device for height adjustment includes a means of application repulsive force between the body and the base. The closure device of the rack includes a multi-stage gear transmission (45) and the locking device (43). The gear transmission is attached to one of the frames. The locking device is attached to another frame and is removably installed on this gear transmission. The system includes such an ironing board and an iron.
EFFECT: improved usability of adjustment the height of the ironing board and improved regulation safety.
