FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: first stage of the electronic non-scattering load is made based on a transformer converter controlled with direct current with a choke at the input. The device employs an auxiliary converter which is connected through a bridge rectifier to the mains in order to provide initial charge of a storage capacitor, upon achievement of which a controller connected to the primary side of the control system begins to switch transistors of the first stage with shutoff, thereby increasing voltage across the storage capacitor to a given level. After that the controller transmits a sinusoidal reference signal to the secondary side and switches on primary and secondary power parts of the electronic non-scattering load.

EFFECT: high efficiency of the electronic non-scattering load, smaller dimensions, low cost of input filter, easier transmission of instructions from the controller, faster control during non-standard situations.
