FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to converter installations and can be used in making railway vehicle power supply systems. Auxiliary converter comprises charging and primary contactors and charging resistor. Power section comprises step-up stage, resonance converter with transformer, output rectifier with capacitor at its output and inverters connected to using equipment. Control system comprises master and slave controllers, each being built around digital signal processor. Controllers receives and dispatches messages to higher level system, allows correct operation of both stages of power section, starting the auxiliary converter and its turn-off.

EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability.
