FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to neurosurgery and may be applicable for treatment of scoliosis in children. Rear atlantooccipital membrane is removed by excision without resection of rear pedicle of C1-vertebra. Outer cover of pachymeninx is dissected crosswise above cerebellum tonsils and medulla oblongata. Produced flaps of outer cover of pachymeninx are excised. Adhesions between pachymeninx and rear pedicle of C1 - vertebra are dissected.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to stabilise deformation of spine, and in some cases to provide for its regress.
