FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: rubber filled with silica filler relates to solution and emulsion types of vinyl-styrene rubber, butadiene rubber, mixtures thereof in weight ratio of 5-98:95-2 and isoprene rubber. The silica filler, particularly white soot, is prepared in form of a suspension in a hydrocarbon solvent, and its hydrophobisation is carried out during preparation of the suspension due to content of polysiloxane additives or mixtures thereof with a coupling agent and a reaction initiator in a silica filler-coupling agent-rubber system.
EFFECT: high degree of dispersion of white soot with low power consumption, simple method of filling rubber and preparing a rubber mixture.
