FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: protection device of digital microcircuits consists of precision resistor installed in power bus of digital microcircuits, comparator the input of which is connected to precision resistor and the output of which is connected to control input of power source of digital microcircuits, speed-up transistor, blocking diode, timing RC circuit consisting of resistor and capacitor, and metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) transistor are introduced; at that, output of comparator is connected to base of speed-up transistor the collector of which through blocking diode is connected to timing RC circuit and to gate of MIS transistor the sink of which is connected to control input of power source of digital microcircuits.
EFFECT: improving reliability of electronics by protecting against overload at occurrence of thyristor effect under influence of electromagnetic pulse or heavy charged particles.
