FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and a device for protecting electronic equipment from radioactive radiations. According to the method, the radiation environment is monitored and the electronic equipment is preventively disconnected when the risk of its damage from ionizing radiation is approaching, wherein monitoring dose rate of ionizing radiation involves analysing the spectrum of ionizing radiation, analysing the risk of failure of electronic equipment during peak loads of ionizing radiation, as well as formation of information signals of warning and emergency signals for disconnection of electronic equipment when the risk of its damage threshold.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of protection of electronic equipment from radioactive radiations due to prediction and guaranteed prevention of its active operation.
