FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the milling industry and relates to preparation of grain for grinding. Method of processing grain in its preparation for grinding includes hydration grain by placing it in water, processing of grain in water by ultrasound, binning of grain and cleaning it from shell due to its separation and removal. Moreover, hydration, sonication and separation of the shell are carried out simultaneously in a laminar water flow for 15 seconds. At that the power density of acoustic cavitation produced by ultrasound source is set equal to not less than 3 W/cm2. Binning is produced during from 1 to 2.5 hours.
EFFECT: method according to the invention enables to reduce the binning time and to increase extent of separation membrane from the grain.
