FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of separating particles of loose materials by their shape and can be used in metallurgy, chemical and food industries. Proposed method consists in feeding the mix of spherical particles and those with spalling onto vibrating plane inclined to horizon. Plane inclination angle, vibration direction and coefficient of friction between particles and plane are selected subject to conditions of spherical particles sliding downward along inclined plane and particles with spalling upward along the plane. Plane vibration amplitude and frequency are set allowing for no-drew motion of faulty particles upward along the plane.
EFFECT: simplified sorting.
