FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to automotive safety systems. Proposed section channel comprises console panels that make a continuation of said panel with cross section shape changed. Console panel feature round shape with eccentric holes. Said holes serve to secure each console panel in car body. Section channel has flat end faces and curved zones located parallel with the latter. Radius of curvature of convergence of curved zones makes at least 100 mm. First console panel 3 features profile with its strain sign opposite that of first console panel 4 to provide for equilibrium sign-variable strains at dynamic load that causes damping or shock absorption of load acting on car body.
EFFECT: higher safety in accidents.
