FIELD: motor industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to light vehicle back bumper. Bumper is arranged in the form of high-strength body with microcellular glass filler and fibrous structure from foam polyurethane. Bumper is made by casting of hot mix with glass filler in the form of microballs with their weight of 18-22% of bumper main mass into die mould at pressure from 16 to 22 bar at temperature of 185-195±5°C. Shell structure of bumper makes it possible to fix electric equipment and to make pockets due to ribbing for through supply system and fixation of conductors. Making of roundings, self-locking lock change-overs, shaped holes, holes and grooves for bumper fixation to car body eliminates additional mechanical operations.
EFFECT: reduced prime cost and simplified design.
