FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: automated filtration device contains a circuit for control of the process of wort discharge from the collector with a filtered wort height level metre and a circuit for switchover of muddy wort from the pressure pipe with a photometre for subsided wort in the separator. The automated device is equipped with a microprocessor, a circuit for control of filtration rate in the filter vat with a filtration sieve temperature sensor and a level metre for measurement of height of mash mass in the filter vat and a circuit for control of mash mass sparging completeness with a gravity sensor for every portion of filtered wort in the collector and a pumped filtered wort flow metre. The microprocessor inputs are connected to the filtered wort height level metre, the photometre, the filtration sieve temperature sensor, mash mass height level metre, the gravity sensor for every portion of filtered wort in the collector and a pumped filtered wort flow metre. The microprocessor outputs are connected to the cut-off valves of the delivery lines for delivery of wash waters, an inactive gas and steam, the line for wort outflow into the collector, to the pump for transfer of wort from the collector into the separator and the pump for transfer of subsided wort from the separator through a three-way cock into a wort kettle or into a mash vat.
EFFECT: mash mass filtration process rate control and brewing wort quality improvement.
