SUBSTANCE: household appliance with a capacity for detergent solution, and at least one ballast weight serving to increase the inertial characteristic of the container for detergent solution and which is mechanically connected by, at least one of its contact surface with at least one contact surface of container for detergent solution. Contact surfaces are glued together. The contact surface of ballast weight or on the contact surface of a container for detergent solution has at least one protrusion in contact with a flat area with attaching to it of the contact surface. In the cavities between protuberances there is glue distributed in case of gluing on a flat area. In another version, the contact surface of the ballast weight or contact surface of a container for detergent solution are made without protrusions. At that the contact surfaces of the ballast weight are placed on the plastic part that is embedded in another solid material.

EFFECT: creation of a household appliance which comprises connection between a ballast weight and a container for detergent solution, is reliable and not costly.
