FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the cooling system of internal combustion engine. Internal combustion engine includes at least crankcase (B), in which cylinder block (3) is located, and cylinder block head (H) made with possibility of connection with crankcase, and liquid cooling circuit (1), in which the liquid cooling circuit comprises at least one inlet opening (13) and at least one outlet opening (17), a lower cooling chamber (8) located in the cylinder block head (H) nearby with block head area (14) directly in contact with flame; upper cooling chamber (5) located in unit head (H) above lower chamber so that lower chamber is located between upper chamber and area directly contacting with flame, in which inlet opening is located in upper or lower chamber, and outlet opening is located in lower or upper chamber on same side of engine so that cooling liquid flows substantially along U-shaped path between upper and lower chambers transverse to engine crankshaft.
EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of cylinder block cylinder cooling.
