FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine includes casing, crankshaft, cylinder block, at least one piston, cylinder head assembly and cooling system for cooldown at least of some part of the engine. Cooling system has the first cooling jacket for cooldown of the first side of cylinder block, the second cooling jacket for cooldown of the second side of cylinder block and cooling jacket of cylinder head for cooldown of cylinder head assembly. Cooling agent inlet and outlet are interconnected via fluid medium with the first and the second cooling jackets respectively. Cooling agent flowing in the cooling system is supplied from cooling agent inlet to the first cooling jacket, then, to cooling jacket of cylinder head, after that, to the second cooling jacket, and finally, to the cooling agent outlet. Also, cylinder block, engine cooling system and engine cooling method is described.
EFFECT: higher engine cooling efficiency.
